My name is Matthew Fish.
Many of you may know that I have spent years training and pushing myself to accomplish endurance racing goals. It is time to give back to some fantastic families who have to endure much greater challenges than I could even imagine.
This year I will be doing Ironman Texas 2014 in honor of His Grace Foundation. I have had the privilege to see the benefits of this great organization and their efforts to help the families of children who suffer from chronic illness in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX.
This race, and hopefully many more to come, are to provide awareness and support for this amazing group of people just doing their small part to give back.
So join me. Let’s do just that, give back to the communities we live in, to the families who live day-to-day with such endurance that it would amaze the greatest of athletes.
Help me reach my goal of $2,000 by donating to HGF. Please put ‘Ironman Texas’ in the form comments. Thank YOU – Matthew Fish
We are pleased to report that His Grace Foundation was named a 2013 Torch of Champions Honoree by the Texas Children’s Cancer Center.
His Grace Foundation shared the spotlight with 15 Community Champion Honorees at the Sixth Annual Celebration of Champions Luncheon and Fashion Show on October 2nd.
The Community Champions were selected for their commitment to making Houston a better place and were paired with 17 Texas Children’s Cancer Center Survivors who walked down the “runway for a cure.”
His Grace Foundation is pleased to carry the Torch of Champions for the coming year as we continue to be grace in the need of the moment for patients on the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit of Texas Children’s Hospital and their families.
